We will conduct MANDATORY TEAM MEETINGS the second Wednesday of each month to discuss the Team's issues and policies. ALL members are required to attend. Your vote does not count if you are not there. You will be notified either via phone or e-mail about any official Team run or meeting. Please check the website often.
1. Because we are a "Team" we must watch, take care and respect each other. Loyalty to the Team and the other fellow team members is a MUST! Do not embarrass yourself or the Team. You will be wearing the Team patch and logo, so be proud of it and respect the community and other non-team riders. "Showboats and Troublemakers" will not be tolerated on the team!!!

2. ALL members should have at least a motorcycle permit with intentions of getting a motorcycle license. The best way to ride is being "legit". Proper registration, inspection, insurance coverage and permit/license is required in order to join the Team. We will maintain a Xerox copy of these documents in your personal file. These copies will be requested from each member upon joining the Team. Please report any change of documentation, address, or phone number(s) to the Secretary.

3. Punctuality and promptness are a virtue! Every time we schedule a meet, it will be posted on the website (unless otherwise stated) and you will receive a phone call or a text message prior to the run. Whatever time the meet is scheduled for, pull off time is half hour after that. For example, if the meet time is 8:00 p.m., then we will step out no later or earlier than 8:30 p.m. If you think you will be later or are running late, then you can meet up with the Team later. Please be advised that during this 30 minute slack time, you should be filling up your gas tank and stomach. If you think you need more time to accomplish these tasks, than you should plan on being there early. Please assess your needs and estimate your time accordingly. One of the primary goals of forming and being part of a team is to R I D E! Not to sit around and wait for inconsiderate people!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

4. During official Team Runs, we will ALWAYS ride in staggered formation (unless otherwise indicated). It is imperative that we stay organized, in formation and with designated Team Leaders at the front and rear. Allow for extra room to maneuver. Regardless of how and when we ride, courtesy to others is a must! Always pay attention of who is next to you and never underestimate your skills or any one else's. Be prudent and wise in how you apply yourself on the road. It is very important to observe your own limits and never try to imitate other's riding techniques! Remember that we all are at different levels of experience, therefore it is important that you ride at your own pace. Each rider should be as fast as the slowest rider.

5. Most of the runs will be voluntary, probably two or three times a week. However, we will also have MANDATORY RUNS which most likely will occur on weekends. The importance of being in a "Team" is to ride together as much as we can. Remember, the good riding season is only six months long. If, for some reason, you cannot make a mandatory run, a phone call must be made to President, Vice President, or any Team Leader.

6. You will be issued an official RPM ID card, used mainly for emergency and identification purposes. You will need to present this ID card at selected motorcycle dealers around the Tri State area in order to enjoy discounts on selected merchandise and services. Some team members are willing to share additional discounts by offering their personal services and/or business to other fellow Team members.

7. For organizational and logistical purposes, the Team is composed of a well prepared and dedicated Staff. This ranking structure features a President (Eddie Calderon), a Vice President (Louie Ortiz), one Team Leader (Flaco), and a Secretary (Jessica). In addition, there is a Sergeant of Arms (Tony) that will assist to maintain the integrity and organization of the Team while we ride in formation (please note that these appointed individuals will be the ONLY ones out of formation during official Team runs). These appointed individuals should be addressed with respect and consideration due to the fact that they dedicate their own time and efforts to organize, plan and execute all the activities throughout the riding season.

8. Annual dues are used for various clerical expenses such as printing and supplies, events, T-shirts, decals and expenses which may include barbecues and parties. Dues are expected from each member at the first official team meeting.

9. Always wear a helmet and proper motorcycle apparel. Check your motorcycle periodically and perform basic safety checks. Those simple tips can do wonders for your safety.

10. Breakdown Policy: In case of a breakdown while riding in a big group, it is important that the entire group stop in order to assess the situation and determine how much damage and how long it will take to repair the stalled motorcycle. If the damage is minor, then we will troubleshoot it on the spot for approximately 15 minutes, fix it and be on our way. If the damage is major and should it take more than 15 minutes, then NOT everyone should stay and waste time. Only a few designated individuals will stay with that member to help him/her get going. It is not fair to keep a big group waiting and limiting them from riding.

11. Emergency Policy: In case of an accident or an emergency, please contact the President, Vice President or any one of the Team Leaders at any time to request assistance.

12. Drug and Alcohol Policy: Focus your mind on riding. Drinking and riding is irresponsible, drugs are even worse, including prescription drugs which may dull your senses or slow down your reactions. Please do yourself and your fellow Team members a favor, DO NOT RIDE IMPAIRED.

13. Dismissal and Suspension Policy: Violating any of the official Team's rules and regulations will be subject to penalties such as suspension and possible dismissal from the Team. We will be enforcing the "Three Strikes, You’re Out" policy to ensure control and organization in the Team. Three consecutive incidents were you do not show up to a mandatory Team meeting/run or you violate rules and regulations, you will be subject to suspension and possible dismissal. Each case will be properly reviewed and decided on by members of the Team.

14. New Join Policy: We will maintain a set amount of active members in the Team. If you fail to participate consistently in Team Runs, meetings and/or events, you will be demoted to an inactive membership status. Consequently, your spot could be taken by a prospective new join. Team members are allowed to recruit new members as long as there is space availability and he/she meets the criteria outlined above. Each potential new member will be allowed a courtesy run to observe his/her riding habits and skills. In addition, he/she will undergo a comprehensive interview and complete screening to determine whether he/she is a team player and is ready to become part of our Team.

15. Team RPM is an equal opportunity, not-for- profit organization. All riders 18 years and older, male or female, with a passion for Sport Riding are welcome to join our family of riders.
